For the 2024 season, SimonBart Gallery will showcase works by internationally renowned Venetian sculptor Gianfranco Meggiato, who has been exhibiting in major museums, galleries, and public squares worldwide since 1998.
Invited to the 54th and 55th editions of the Venice Biennale, he has been creating large social and educational installations since 2017, displayed in UNESCO heritage public locations such as Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa and the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
Winner of the prestigious ICOSMOS-UNESCO award, he masterfully combines ancient and contemporary elements in highly evocative and aesthetically powerful sculptural installations.
